Executive Summary
Alexis is the Head of the Technology Risk Advisory services of BDO Cyprus. He has over 10 years of experience in the areas of IT, Information Security and Data Privacy. Before taking over BDO’s TRA department, he was occupied as an independent consultant, in the domains of information security and data privacy. His previous experience also includes holding senior positions at firms in the financial and banking sector, as well as in the academic sector.
Alexis holds a doctoral degree in the area of Information Security, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a Master’s degree in Information Security and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. In addition, he is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), an EC-Council Disaster Recovery Professional (EDRP) and a holder of the Security+ certification. He has presented various topics in national and international conferences and has also published a variety of articles on security and privacy topics.
